StuH assault howitzers are armed with a 10.5cm gun for raw firepower to destroy strongpoints, and when massed, the ability to fire as artillery. Its HEAT ammunition gives it good anti-tank capability with no loss of penetration at long range
The large skirts on the side of the hull increase its side armour against Bazookas, anti-tank rifles, and heavy machine-guns
